Linda, an Artist
Linda Mark is an American landscape painter working primarily in pastel and oil, with a strong foundation in en plein air practice. She has studied with respected artists, including Mary Muller and Jill Steenhuis, and trained within the tradition of the Leo Marchutz School in France.
Her work is shaped by extensive international travel and prolonged periods of on-location painting, including significant time spent in Tuscany, Italy, and Provence, France, as well as across Europe, Mexico, and the United States. While she paints widely, the American Midwest remains her home base and an ongoing source of inspiration. She regularly attends advanced painting seminars, sells her work through private collectors and exhibitions, and actively competes in plein air festivals.
